Lot of 20 Hollywood posters promoting movies, actors and actresses. Largest +/- 22" x 14", smaller posters +/- 15" x 12". One interesting broadside features headshots of Tyrone Power and Jeanette MacDonald, proclaiming them King and Queen of the Movies because they won a newspaper fan poll in 1939. MacDonald finished ahead of Sonja Henie and Myrna Loy while Power outpolled Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy. However, highlights of this unique collection may be two broadsides for silent movies, one a colored-in print for The Beloved Brute which was released by Vitagraph Pictures in 1924, the other an American Theater poster for a series of matinee and evening shows running from Dec. 20, 1915 - Jan. 4, 1916, 15 cents admission, presented by Triangle and Paramount Productions, "The Cream of the World's Photoplays" (back in the days when studios owned movie theaters).
