Cert. #3092, issued to Miss Gertey S. Loeb for 500 shares in 1908. Signed by B.D. Milam as pres. And Geo. L. Schumaker as secretary. This certificate was issued at the time of the high point for the mine. It produced about $55,000 that year from their new mill, which was the largest in the Bullfrog district, except for the one at the Montgomery Shoshone. The Homestake was the neighboring property to the Gold Bar. The two tasseled over rich ore found on the boundary of the properties, causing substantial financial harm to both. Homestake had mined some of the rich ore on Gold Bar property, only to be discovered when a Gold Bar lessee drove a drift along an ore zone and popped into a huge stop alread mined by the Homestake Co. Both mines became part of the Gold Bar open pit mine in the 1980's, courtesy of yours truly. EF. Uncancelled. City: Bullfrog State: Nevada Date: HWAC# 51230
