Very attractive! Location of Mines: Homestake Mountain, Lake County, Colorado (printed under vignette). Inc. in CT. No. 32, issued for 200 shares to A.C. Denison on Feb. 8th, 1883. Signed by the president (illegible) and secretary (Smith). Not cancelled. Green border, silver seal, and two mining vignettes: prospector (lower left) and mine/mill with line of ore cars on track (center). Fancy logo with shaded background. Printed by Punderson, Crisland & Co., New Haven. 7.5 x 11.25" Horizontal and vertical folds. The camps of Homestake and Lake City were established on Homestake Mountain NW of Leadville with in the early 1870s. The district includes the Homestake, Silver King and Wisconsin Badger claims, and the McAleer, No. 10 and No. 124 mineral monuments.
