Circular badge measuring 2" commemorates the six companies responsible for the construction of Hoover Dam back in 1930s. These companies include:
Kaiser-Bechtel: 30% ownership, MacDonald and Kahn: 20% ownership, Utah Construction Company: 20% ownership, Morrison-Knudsen: 10% ownership
Pacific Bridge Company: 10% ownership, J.F. Shea Co: 10% ownership , Construction Marvel- Hoover Dam | Biorev Studios.
The Six Companies were led by William H. Wattis, president of Utah Construction Co., and his brother Edmund Orson Wattis, vice president. The company won the contract to build the dam for almost $49 million, which was a large sum in the early 1930s. The dam was completed two years ahead of schedule.
