Very Attractive Hopi round sterling silver overlay belt buckle by Jason Takala with favorite "Man in Maze" design, approximately 1.5" X 2"weighs 20.2 grams. Mastercraftsman Jason Takala is the nephew of world reknowned silversmith, Bernard Dawahoya, who was also his teacher. Jason has won many awards at Indian Market, Santa Fe and his work has been included in museum exhibits, craft shows and several publications. He has been actively producing since 1966 and is known for his man-in-the-maze design, which represents man emerging from the center of the Earth and migrating to the four directions.
