Rare. Incorporated in 1882 in New Mexico. No. 550, issued for 700 shares to Benjamin Johnson on Oct. 10th, 1884. Signed by the president, David Branson, and secretary R. Evans Peterson. Not cancelled. Vignette of miner with ore bucket. Printed by Franklin Bank Note Co., NY. Pinholes, folds, stain lower right corner. According to Burchard 1884, it was located in the Cuchillo Negro District in Socorro County. A shaft from the bottom of the tunnel is down upwards of 40 feet, all in vein matter, said to contain rich mineral throughout."
