Cert. #186, issued to Mr. S.F. Scott for 500 shares in 1904. Signed by Thos W. Shapleigh as president and Henry P. Classen as treasurer. The Idaho Maryland was a consolidation of mines, some of which dated back to 1851. According to Gudde, the total production of the group was $70 million. The company was located near the Empire mine. Nice vignette of a millsite and mining operation at the top. Bright orange underprint stating, "PAR VALUE $1.00". A scarce and very attractive certificate. VF.
