Lot of 9 Union military pay vouchers issued 1863-1865. Include: 1st Lt. L.B. Church, 105th Illinois Infantry, 1865; Capt. NW Edwards, 1864; Col. James. C. Strong, 15th Regiment, 1864; Isaac Neely, Surgery Board of Enrollment, 13th Division, 1864 (mentions one "Negro" servant named George); Capt. A. Kovals, on duty at Camp Douglas, Chicago, 1864; Henry G. Hicks, 1st Lt. 93rd, 1863; Major James E. Calloway, 21st Reg., 1863; William H. Gale, 1st Lt. 44th, Camp Fry, 1864 w/ handwritten note; and Robert M. McArthur, Surgeon of Enrollment, 6th Div., 1864 (w/ handwritten note). Each voucher is approx. 10 x 16.5" and includes allocations for pay and rations to the soldier and their servants, if any. Most have one servant. Very good condition!
