Dyplomystus Fossil Fish from the Eocene epoch Green River Formation in southwest Wyoming. Slab is 23 x 20 inches and about 3/4 inch thick. The fish fossil is just over 16 inches long and about five inches wide making it among the largest Dyplomystus examples you will ever see. It has been stained to better show the detail after it was carefully sandblasted out of the fine siltstone. The large slab has no cracks or chips and is ready to be framed and displayed in your home or office. In addition, this lot contains two smaller slabs: a 5 x 7-inch rectangular slab with a single 4-1/2-inch Knightia fossil fish; and a roughly 9 x 5-inch irregularly shaped slab with two Knightia fossil fish and a portion of a third. Together this set of fossil slabs will complement your home or office decor in great style. State: Wyoming City: Date:
