Dealer lot of postal covers, checks, and labels with Indian motifs on them. All items in good condition.
A) About 110 postal covers with an image of Chief Joseph Nez Perce. The text printed on these covers reads, "From where the sun now stands I will fight no more forever' Battle of the Bear Paws, October 1877," All covers have a stamp and a postal marking from Chinook, Montana, October 3, 1977.
B) About 18 checks with Indian vignettes. These checks are from the Stissing National Bank in New York and the Farmers and Merchants Bank in North Dakota. These checks are from 1880 and 1911, respectively.
C) About 25 labels from the Windsor Broom Co. in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. There are three different types of labels in this group, all with Indian motifs. Very colorful. State: City: Date: Provenance: Stuart Mackenzie Montana Ephemera Collection
