Group of six prints of Native Americans printed by the Detroit Photographic Company, circa 1903. These prints are possibly reproductions of photographs by W.H. Jackson. William Henry Jackson (1843-1942) was a Civil War veteran and photographer who was known for depicting the American West. This lot includes two duplicates of a print titled "Obtossaway, A Chief of the Ojibwas." This image was copyrighted by the Detroit Photographic Co. in 1903. This lot also includes four duplicates of a print titled "Yamapi' A Ute Runner for Chief Ouray." These prints are about 3.5 x 7 and 6.75 x 8.75, good condition.
