Washington Warren and treasurer NO Dyer Jr. Not cancelled. Black print on yellow paper. Indian Queen vignette. No printer listed. 6.5 x 10.5" Folds, light wear. Located in the Oneota District, Esmeralda County according to Burchard 1883. The district was in the White Mountain Range, 25 miles SW from Candelaria. The Indian Queen was the principal mine in the district, opened to a depth of 400 ft. The ore is very refractory but also rich and processed by a 5-stamp mill and Howell roasting furnace.
