Lot of four early postal covers from Webbers Falls, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory. Webbers Falls was named after a seven foot falls on the Arkansas River. 1) 1876 postmark with ms cancels on three Sc 156 on buff envelope, addressed to Treasurer of Cherokee Nation, Fort Gibson, C. N. 2) 1898 CDS and cork cancel tie Sc 267 to envelope with cc for Blackstone and Ellington Cash Store. 3) 1889 Red'd CDS receiver postmark used as an origination postmark and cork cancel on Sc 213 on envelope with cc for T. Q. Blackstone, Druggist addressed to Tahlequah, July 4, 1883 receiver cancel on reverse. 4)1883 postmaster's CDS and target cancel tie Sc 183 to buff envelope addressed to Ft. Smith.
