Cert. #757, issued in 1900 at Cripple Creek, Colorado for 1000 shares to Tucker Ballard Co. Trustee. Signed by W.B. Pullin as vice president and W.G. Hoopes as secretary. W.R. Foley was the company president but doesn't sign here. Moon goddess vignette at the left. This is a rare Cripple Creek certificate. Not listed in Hills Manual of 1900, but it is listed in Hills 1902 Official Manualette. The company held the Nightengale, Monarch and the Monte Christo claims, all patented. There were sundry shafts on these properties ranging from 45 to 100 feet in depth. The Monte Christo was worked by the company, but idle in 1902. It was leased from Feb. 1, 1901 for two years. The Monarch was leased from Jan. 1, 1900 for 18 months. It was listed as a prospect. Pullin and Foley also managed The Humboldt Gold and Silver Mining and Milling Company which was incorporated in 1892. That company owned the Humboldt and the Grouse claims on Ironclad Hill. It is listed in the 1900 Hills Manual. The certificate is VF. Uncanceled.
