A drifter drill is a hydraulic or pneumatic rock or ground drill used to make horizontal holes in tunnel construction and mining. Found at Rawhide, Nevada. Rawhide was a famous Nevada mining camp in 1907 and 1908. The hype around it was huge. The town quickly had 12 hotels, 37 saloons, etc. But as with many mining camps, the ore played out quickly. Today Rawhide is a giant open pit. Some of these items are heavy or large and will require addition cost to mail if not picked up.
