Lot of 6. 1) Carson City Savings check from 1876 for $2,010 signed by T.B. Rickey. Rickey was an important land owner and rancher. He also is known for selling the plot of land where the Nevada Governor's Mansion sits for $10. 2) Two very interesting Carson checks signed by T.R. Hofer. The first is for receipt of "one gold watch for safe keeping." The second is for William Garrard, supt. of the U.S. Mint. 3) Another Carson receipt for stock orders from numerous Comstock mines. 4) Carson City Savings Bank check for T. Coffin and expense receipt signed by Coffin, who was once Speaker of the Assembly.
