"Copy Interline Way Bills Jan 10th 1910 to ____" hand-written on cover. Waybills primarily routing to Denver, CO and Kansas City, MO. The Denver, Northwestern & Pacific Railway Company was originally established in 1902 by David H. Moffat and associates after Denver was bypassed by the Union Pacific and Denver Rio Grande Western Railroads. The Denver and Salt Lake Railroad was formed in 1913 after the DNW&P was put into receivership in 1912. Waybills move with a shipment showing its consignor, consignee, origin and destination, description of goods including their weight and freight. Prepared by the shipping company for its internal record and control. Letterpress book, hardcover, about 100 pages with up to 6 entries per page, measures 16" x 19". Stains and water damage on front cover, with spine starting to separate from text block.
