Lot of 2. Both are nicely framed and matted. 1) Stock certificate for the International Mercantile Marine Company. Issued for 10 shares in 1902. This company owned subsidiaries including the White Star Line, which owned the infamous RMS Titanic. The company was founded by JP Morgan as his attempt to monopolize the shipping trade. 2) $1,000 bond for the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad Company. Issued in 1935, punch cancelled.
