Issued-1907 Wild Rose Mining. The company operated at Skidoo and Wild Rose in the Panamint Mountains, west of Death Valley. Incorporated in South Dakota in 1906. The company's mine office was at Skidoo and their business office was at Beatty. The company's properties located 7 miles from Skidoo included the Wild Rose mine, the Wild Rose Annex and the Rush Group. By the spring of 1907, an eighty-foot tunnel had been excavated with a crosscut running through the ledge and exposing ore assaying as high as $100 in gold and $25 in silver at the Wild Rose. The Wild Rose Annex property was also making a good showing at this time (nps.gov). Mines located in Wild Rose Mining District, Inyo County, California printed on the masthead.

1910 Four Metals Smelting and Mining. Property included the famous Union mine at Cerro Gordo consolidated with the old Santa Maria mine and now called the Cerro Gordo mine. . Silver lead ore. Shipped ore from 600' and 800' levels in 1910 (Copper Handbook, 1910). The Cerro Gordo mine was located near the summit of Cerro Gordo peak. The Four Metals company erected a smelter east of Keeler and built an aerial tramway from the mine to the smelter. There were said to be 28 miles of tunnels and drifts in the Cerro Goro mine. Very rare certificate. Vignette shows aerial tramway running from the mountains down to the smelter.
