John Jones Jr. embossed in a ribbon pattern in flint glass. internal stain as originally found. lip chips. Jones was a pioneer druggist on the Comstock, coming in 1864, right after Morrill and Cole. This bottle is thought to be his first drug bottle. Made in flint glass and shows the drip under the lip where the top was hand applied and flattened. During the research for the Bottle Book, this was the only example of this bottle located. This is the example shown in "Ghost Towns & Medicines, Nevada Bottle Book Volume II", p162.
