An engraving of a classic portrait of trailblazer Daniel Boone. The engraving was done by James Longacre, chief engraver for the United States Mint from 1844 to 1869. The engraving was done in 1835 and was copied from a painting by Chester Harding (1792-1866). While the frame and matting measures 11"x 13", the portrait measures 4"x 6". This is ready to hang.
