Aqua c. 1870-90 applied top J. T./Elko/Nev. soda bottle. James Talbot was one of the pioneering soda water manufacturers in Nevada. Based in Elko, he started operation in 1869 after the completion of the Central Pacific Railroad. He had a reputation as charitable and was well liked in the community. This bottle is featured on page 132 of Holabird Vol. 1. and is considered one of the rarest and best looking Westen aqua sodas. Striking large bold letters in the Western style.
