Group of three K. Konishi & Co. apothecary bottles in deep aqua. Tooled top. Two are 8.5" tall, the third 6.5" tall. The deepest aqua tall bottle is dead mint, whittled and clean. the second is mint, with some minor imperfections here and there, mostly unnoticeable. The small specimen has a serious crack in the neck. These three bottles were dug under a house in Honolulu near Roosevelt High School in 1996. The spelling on the large bottles is incorrect, "apochecary". The bottles are from a Japanese Honolulu merchant. They held a "cure" for tempering rhumatic fever. The lot also contains two matching dose glasses, 1.75" tall, 0.75" diam with Japanese writing embossed on the side.
