Carved Resin Replicas of Japanese Netsuke handcrafted, made of polymer or wood resin.

Two Japanese figures of peasants engaged in daily work, marked PEM for Peabody Museum of Art. Signed in Japanese by artist. Probably produced for sale in museum gift shop. 40-45mm x 35mm.

One Japanese carved cat perched on pedestal with fish underneath pedestal. Dark brown color to resemble wood. Signed in Japanese and marked MMA (Metropolitan Museum of Art) late 20th Century piece probably sold in MMA gift shop as souvenir. 40mm x 35mm.

4th piece is a very clever design of turtle on top and the cheerful, happy God, Jurojin underneath. Modern piece signed in Japanese, made of resin and probably sold in museum gift shop. 55mm x 35mm.

5th piece is a coyote, signed on the bottom and made to resemble ivory but does not have the holes of traditional netsuke. Appears to be a polymer resin of some kind, although it does not glow under black light. 35mm x 25mm
