This is a lot of two antique ivory figurines and two snuff bottles. Two Netsuke figurines are present with one believed to be a Jurojin at 2 in./ 51 mm in height, Schreger lines and signature are visible. The second figurine is a man holding a stick pointing to the piece of paper stuffed into a slot on the bottom edge, 2.5 in./ 63 mm. He shows signs of patination and worn holes in the back; a signature is also on the back. The two snuff bottles are both 3 in./ 76 mm in height; one is beautifully scrimshawed and the other relief carved. The relief carved one is signed on the bottom. The scrimshawed one is beautifully detailed with birds and flowers, unsigned. Schreger lines are evident on both bottles. These are thought to be antique and pre-date the first world war.
