This lot has three documents on John B. Adams of Perkin's Regiment. There is a receipt for selling his horse and saddle to the confederates in 1865. He is also assessed for taxes for being a "disloyal inhabitant" in Chariton County, Missouri to the confederacy 1862, and an affidavit stating that he has always been a loyal citizen and signed by an number of friends.
