Lot of 7. 1) John Jones, Jr,. Chemist & Apothecary, Gold Hill, Nevada billhead. 1877. Issued to the Public Schools in Gold Hill. 2) HH Flagg bank check, Gold Hill, 1870, signed by John Jones Jr. Nevada and US IR adhesive stamps. 3) Storey County Warrant, 1886 issued to J. Jones Jr. 4) Storey County voucher, 1886, to Jones. 5) 1866 SF receipt for John Jones (his father). 6) 1882 SF check from AJ Plate & Co. to JE Jones in Eureka, Nev. 7) RPPC of Virginia City from California Pan Mill. Unmailed. John Jones Jr. was on the Comstock for nearly 3 decades. He came to Gold Hill and worked for EA Gamble, purchasing Gamble's GH store in 1864. When the Comstock declined in the 1880s and 90s, Jones left to Oakland and opened a store there. He sold his Gold Hill store in 1893/94.
