Issued March 8, 1860 signed Z.G. Siunums president. Black, embossed seal, vignette top can less loco w/ cars l-r, unidentified printer, coupons 1-38 attached. EF.

2. The Kentucky and Tennessee Railroad Co. incorp 1870 Kentucky. Operated until 1872. #890, I/C, $1000, 7%, First Mortgage Gold bearer bond due 1892. Issued July1, 1872. Signature not readable. Green, embossed seal, vignette 4-4-0 loco and tender l-r from roundhouse. "GOLD" green underprint. Upper left $1000, upper right 205 lbs. National Bank Note Co. printer. This certificate was often sold in London and gave the bearer the option of $1000 in gold or 205 pounds sterling. VF
