Beautiful silver parade saddle with matching parade-style headstall made by Keyston Bros. in San Francisco, with silver work by Schaezlein, one of the finest of the San Francisco silver men for saddlery. Circa 1930's (pre-1950). Silver ornamentation all over that contains horsehead with rope border, resembling a medallion. These special silver emblems are seen on the silver corner plates, rear plate, and on the silver horn cap. Classic Keyston silver with gold plate emblem at head of seat. Black stained leather artistically tooled with floral patterns (hybiscus, etc). Gold and maroon corona. Tie strings at four locations each side, as usual. One silver concho missing from brow band.
