Orange brown 25 cent Internal Revenue stamp attached bottom right. Signed by CW Burton as vice president and Robert Suter (secretary). Vignette of miners working on the surface. Folds. Browne (1868) notes that the Keystone Mill "may be taken as a sample of its class, from its arrangement, construction, and class" (pg. 402). He also lists production for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 1866 as 2 tons, 350 pounds, averaging $194.66 per ton (pg. 404). Shares were $5 Each. Continental Bank Note, N.Y. Uncancelled.
