Five gold nuggets from the King tut placer mine, Meadview, Arizona. Part of the expanded Lost Basin Mining District. Mined in the 1934-1942 period. It is a thin placer unit extending for about 8 miles and is only about two feet thick. It is a favorite spot for metal detectorists and dry wash specialists. Total weight of the five nuggets is 12.4 grams; they range from 8-15 mm.
