Inc. in Montana. Mines on the Yukon. No. 535, issued for 8 shares to Oscar Washburn on Dec. 4th, 1897. Signed by F.B. Vrooman as acting president and F.W. Davis as acting secretary. Not cancelled. Ornate logo and vignette of Washington. Printed by Western Bank Note Co. Folds, one pinhole. Very fine. Not in Filer. Information about this company was difficult to find. However, the company had a very detailed advertisement in The Tammany Times which provided the following details: the company owned ten "high-value" placer claims including Bonanza Creek (7A, 7B, 8A, 8B), El Dorado Creek (70A & 70B), Too-Much-Gold-Creek (above Discovery, 17A, 17B, 26A, 26B) and Minook Creek (below Discovery, 4A, 4B). They also note that their claims on El Dorado creek are near the claims of Alaska pioneer Hank Summers. (Al Adams Gold Rush Memorabilia Collection) Date: Location: Alaska HWAC# 58548
