Extremely rare LZ 10 German Zeppelin "airship" that was the very first of any commercial air flights of any kind carrying paid passengers in the world. The first commercial flight was July 16, 1911, and the last flight June 28, 1912, when the airship could not fit in the hanger, and a ferocious wind storm blew it apart. This piece is a rare special German postcard commemorating the flight, that was placed on the flight, cancelled June 14, just 14 days before the zeppelin was destroyed. LZ 10 took off with paying passengers just 7.5 years after the Wright Brothers historic Kitty Hawk first flight. This is the first cover or post card of the World's First Flight this company has had in its 41 years in business, and we have handled more than 3500 first flight covers. [] [] [] [] []
