Two photographs by Mauricio Yanez of the La Calendaria Mine in Chacala, Durango State. Both photos are 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches, matted. Mauricio Yanez lived 1882-1939 and was killed in a plane crash. One of his photographs of the Mexican Revolution was of General Ramon F. Iturbe "accompanied by his Feminime General Staff." The mine was near San Dimas situated in the mountain ridge that divides Durango from Sinaloa. It made Don Juan Jose Zambrano a wealthy man. HWAC# 47400 Date: Location: zMexico
