CK model P8 .25ACP Single Action compact pocket pistol in Fine overall 95%+ original condition. This is considered to be a real "mouse gun". Dark blue finish on the frame, zinc alloy slide, barrel and triggerguard. Gold colored trigger. Brown checkered wood grip panels with "LA" logo inserted near the top of both panels, indicating this is the "L.A. FURY" version of this semiautomatic pistol. The other version has a "CC" logo, indicating the "CHICAGO CUB" version. Ramp front sight. Fixed low profile rear sight. These were inexpensive imported pocket pistols brought into the USA in the 1955-65 decade. It measures 4 1/2 inches long, 3 1/2 inches high, 7/8 inch thick and it has a barrel length of 2 1/4 inches. It is smaller than the Beretta model 418 and is very easy to conceal. The ergonomic grip frame is angled at almost a 90% angle to the barrel and slide, which makes this pistol very reliable and easy to hold and shoot fairly well, according to my research on the internet. "RECK P8 Kal. 6.35 mm" stamped on the left side of the slide above the trigger. West German proofmarks stamped on left side of slide in front of the finger cocking grooves. . "Made in West - Germany" is stamped on the right side of the slide above the trigger. Very Fine bore. Manual lever type safety on left side of frame above trigger. Six(6) round magazine appears to be original to this pistol, based on pictures of this model pistol. Some P8 magazines are reported to hold as many as eight(8) rounds. This pistol was actually made by Karl Arndt Reck Sportwaffenfabrik located in Lauf bei Nurnberg in West Germany in the 1955-65 time period. Known as the Reck P8, it sold widely in Europe and was also extensively imported into the USA, where it sold under the names of "LA FURY" and "CHICAGO CUB". This company was absorbed by a sporting goods conglomerate in the 1970s and now operates as the Reck Division of Umarex Sportwaffen of Arnsberg, Germany, now making only starting and other blank firing pistols. This is an excellent example of a very hard-to-find semiautomatic pocket pistol imported from West Germany during the height of the Cold War.FFLor C&R REQUIRED ,NO SALES TO CALIFORNIA ,NEW JERSEY,HAWAII OR NEW YORK CITY.Check your local ordinances before bidding.
