Lot of 55. Large, diverse postcard group representing eleven casinos. 1) California Club. One chrome card of interior section with slot machines, a wheel of fortune, and Old West relics. Post ally unused. 2) El Rancho. One chrome card showing interior with slot machines, roulette table, and card table. Postmarked Iowa 1956. Sender says his trip to Vegas is "an experience I shall never forget." 3) Golden Nugget. Lot of 16. Thirteen linens: six nighttime exteriors, three used, three unused; two daytime exteriors, both unused; and four interiors showing dining room, roulette, main room, and saloon, none used. Three chrome: one nighttime exterior, two interiors of saloon/restaurant. 4) Hotel Flamingo. Two chrome cards of the same interior photo of people gambling on the casino floor. One has writing and notations from 1959. 5) Hotel Last Frontier. Duplicate unused linen cards of "21 Club" Casino. Shows empty gaming room with slots, card tables, and roulette table. 6) Lady Luck. Two RPPCs (with date of 10-8-76 written in pen on back of both). One shows an elderly man standing in front of a slot machine. The other shows the same man standing next to an elderly woman. 7) Las Vegas Club. Two sets of triplicates: 3 linen cards of nighttime exterior, one postmarked 1961 (some toning); 3 chrome cards of a gaming interior with the "Generous Gentlemen of the Old West," one is stamped by Vale Motel in Boulder City, NV. 8) Monte Carlo. Two chrome of nighttime exteriors. One is postmarked 1954. 9) Nevada Club. Four unique RPPCs showing men and women standing in front of slot machines. One has a 1961 postmark. Another has message written, but no stamp or postmark. 10) Pioneer Club. Five linen cards: two duplicates of nighttime exterior scenes with cowboy sign, one of daytime exterior. One has 1952 postmark. Also one chrome card of same daytime exterior shot. Has two 1 cent stamps and what appears to be damage from where it was once glued. 11) Hotel Thunderbird. Five linens: a triplicate of exterior daytime scene at swimming pool; duplicate of exterior daytime scene of front of hotel with thunderbird sign advertising The Mills Bros, Dansations, and Chuck Gould & Orch. All five unused. 12) Generic Vegas lot of 8: an RPPC of the nighttime exterior of older clubs such as Boulder, Frontier, Gay Nineties, and Pioneer, with an interior roulette scene (Frasher's Fotos); duplicate chrome of "one armed bandit" slot machines (one postmarked 1964); duplicate chrome of interior craps scene (at El Cortez?); chrome of blackjack game (with pen notation on back indicating "El Cortez where we had steak"); chrome postmarked 1956 of cowboy slot machines; and finally linen of blackjack game.City: Las VegasCounty: State: NVDate:
