Era, Idaho is now a ghost town. Inc. in Utah January 30, 1888. No.19, issued for 500 shares to Isaac Jennings on April 11th, 1889. Signed by H Dinwoodey (president) and RR Anderlon (secretary). Eagle vignette. Not cancelled. Printed by Tribune Print, Salt Lake. Four pinholes. Otherwise excellent. The Last Chance owns the old Bannock mine and mill. When the Bannock closed down the Lava District showed little progress. In 1892 prospects for the Last Chance were hopeful. The mill was to be started up again. They were deprived of water from Milo Creek for a while but won a lawsuit giving them rights to that water. [Wood River Times, Hailey] Prag Collection State: Idaho City: Era Date: 1889
