Eighty letterhead and billhead collection. 1880's. Includes John G. Morgan Company. Morgan ran the Board of Trade and his large restaurant in Leadville. Sixteen pieces are liquor and beer related! Without naming every company, here are a few: Faster groceries, S Flaks tailor, Walker Layton china, Nowland books, JW Hall bakery, McMillan grocer, Leadville Democrat, Boettcher mining supplies, Fisher scavenger, Hawkins plumbing. A large number of these are John G. Morgan related. Liquor includes Semmes distillery, Baer dealer, Hirsch importer, U, S. Gaggers wine, etc. Paper is very fragile and has serious condition issues, but the perfect prize for a Leadville collector!
