Lot of 3. 1) The Colorado Mine Developing Co. Lake County. Inc. in Colorado. President is Hon. Jno. F. Humphreys, the Mayor of Leadville. Company has five claims, comprising forty-three acres: Red Fox, Grey Fox, Honest John, War Eagle, and Windsor. No date is listed, but we've sold stocks from the company dating to 1880. 4 pages. Claims are on "the east face of Mt. Zion...with many advantages of location, among which are freedom from water (the dread of the prospector), a fair supply of timber, immunity from heavy snows, and unusual facilities for cheap transportation." Printed by Democrat Printing Co., Leadville. 5.5" x 3" Very fine. 2) "The Truth about Leadville, Colorado." A four page brochure, c.1920, advertising the town and mining prospects. "Leadville is a modern city, orderly, law-abiding, healthful." Front features photograph of the town. 3.5" x 6.25" 3) "Leadville Mines Eight Metals. Facts For You." Small booklet advertising the district. Starts with a poem! c.1906. 9 pages. 5.5" x 3.5"
