Lot of 2 different. 1) Inc. in Colorado. No. 57, issued for 250 shares to John Adams on Jan. 6th, 1882 in Leadville. Signed by president N. Rollins and secretary JF Frenoff. Not cancelled. Black border and print. Small mining vignette. Printed by FL Waite, Chicago. Many folds and creases, some separation, a few holes and soiling. 7.5 x 11" Owned the Rarus, 300 x 1500 feet situated in Adelaide Park, two miles east of Leadville in the California District. Located in 1877. Developments include one 102 ft. shaft. [Corregan & Lingane, 1883, pg. 438] 2) The South Side Milling and Mining Company. Inc. in Colorado. No. 290, issued for 1,000 shares to vice president JF Tabor (brother of Horace Tabor) in 1882. Signed by Tabor and secretary McGowan. Black border and print. Gold facsimile underprint and two mining vignettes. 7.75 x 10" Folds. Owned two claims, 1500x300 ft. and a tunnel site, situated in Lackawanna Gulch, Lake Creek district, 18 miles from Leadville.
