Two letters written on A.A. Castaneda & Company letterhead. Even though these are dated two years later than the event. This general merchandise store, located in Bisbee (The other letter is from their Fairbank location), was the site of "The Bisbee Massacre" a botched robbery that took place on December 8, 1883 and resulted in the deaths of four citizens, including a deputy sheriff and a pregnant woman.
Letters regard usual merchant business and as mentioned before, were written two years after the tragic event.
Both are very sharp and readable. Please see photos for more detail and condition.
