Dwight, who had begun processing and packaging baking soda in powdered form in Dwight's kitchen. It was marketed for use in home baking. Now known as Arm and Hammer Baking Soda. Moosilauke House, Warren HN and Church & Dwight letterhead. Letters sent to Mrs. John E. Dwight in NYC, Jacksonville IL and Falmouth, MA. Letters are about a mining roaster, a cold, food and family life. It is clear from these letters he loves and misses his wife. Signed by Papa and Elly who is likely John E. Dwight.
