Across the 1904 World Fair held in St. Louis, a series of saloons and small businesses lined the queue, serving customers anxious to celebrate the fair. This coin is believed to originate from one of the saloons lining the entryway. This front of this chrome-tone coin commemorates the "Best and Longest..." with a picture of a rooster. The back of the coin remarks that the medal is "Good for One Screw", using an image of a screw. The coil of the screw is lightly faded and darkened, with the rest of the token in very good condition. This lewd medal is sure to elicit chuckles from those who understand the innuendo.
The other coin in this set is much more explicit, originating from the Red Door Saloon in Tucson, AZ. It reads "1 Screw Check" on the front, with a heart engraved around the one, an engraving of a gate below it, and the name of the saloon around the rim. The back of the coin reads "All Night Check" with "$3" engraved in the center. This medal appears mildly darkened with age. See photo.
