Two posters advertising Liberty Bonds to fund U.S. participation and Allied war effort during World War I, c1917-18. The first, 38" x 25", features a color illustration of the Honor Flag, with text below that reads, "Honor Flag Third Liberty Loan Awarded by the U.S. Treasury Department." Other text reads: "Help Our Town Win The Right To Fly This Flag, Third Liberty Loan Honor Roll, These are the people of Our Town helping to win the war by investing in Government Bonds of the Third Liberty Loan." Publisher: Capital Pub. Inc. Washington, D.C. The second poster, 19.5" x 27", publisher Edwards & Deutsch Litho Co. Chicago, also features an illustration of the Honor Roll flag, and reads: "HONOR ROLL, The following patriotic men and women in this organization have bought bonds of the 4th Liberty Loan."
