Stock Certificate from the Liebig GM & Mill Co. of Colorado. Located at Empire. Certificate number 46 issued in 1864 to Charles G Curtiss. Not cancelled. Average condition (heavily toned, etc.). Plain, NY. Fully paid, no assessment stamp. According to Hollister, this company operated the Liebig vein in the Union District at Empire. They had 133 ft. on the Tenth Legion with a 115 ft. shaft and 350 ft. tunnel. Vein 1-3 feet wide. They also have 600 ft. on the Northrup (75 ft. shaft); 600 ft. on the Winnebago (65 ft. shaft); and a frame mill on Clear Creek. Agent is JE Leeper of Empire [pg 246].
