First edition of The Life Of John Wesley Hardin" from the Original Manuscript as written by himself. Published by Smith & Moore, Seguin Texas, 1896. John Wesley Hardin was a famous old west outlaw who killed his first victim at the age of 15 and eventually was sentenced for the murder of 27 men. From prison he wrote his autobiography. He was shot in the back of the head in El Paso by a policeman he had had a feud with. 144 pages with illustrations. Front page is separated and light tears of corners. Otherwise good condition.
