Richard Baynham Garrett was a young boy when John Wilkes Booth came to the family farm while running from the law, after killing President Lincoln. It made such an impression on him that in later years as a minister, he gave lectures on Booth and Booth's flight from justice. During his multi-media talks, he used a lantern and lantern slides. These are four of those slides. They measure 4"x 7" with the actual glass measuring 3"x 3". They are in excellent condition and a very historic find. Please see photos for more details.
