Signed by George Nocholas Sanders c.1853 This signed letter is from George N. Sanders a promotor, lobbyist, a revolutionary, a Confederate agent from Kentucky, and thought to have been involved with Lincoln's assassination. It is dated Dec, 23, 1853 involving the rental of property. Folded at two pages. In his efforts to Americanize the world he acquired many enemies throughout Europe and the United States. He was considered a scoundrel with a $25,000 reward for his arrest involving the Lincoln assassination. The charges were later dropped when he left for Europe and not found. 7.5 in.
