Lot of six autographs pertaining to Lincoln's assassination: 1) James Speed (1812-87); attorney general; 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch. 2) H. R. Rathbone; Army officer knifed by Booth at Ford's Theatre; 4 x 2 inches. 3) W. (illiam) Dennison (1815-1882) postmaster general under Lincoln; cut signature on 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 slip.4) Lafayette C. Baker (1826-66) Chief of the United States Secret Service; clipped signature, "L. C. Baker / Washington, Aug. 10, 1860; 2 x 5 inches. 5) William Jason Ferguson (1844-1930) call boy at Ford's Theatre possibly the sole witness to Booth shooting Lincoln. Had a long acting career, and his account of the shooting appeared in the Saturday Evening Post, the New York Times and in book form "I Saw Booth Shoot Lincoln" (1930). 3 x 1 1/2 inches. 6) James Tanner; Corporal Tanner, who recorded eyewitness testimony at Ford's Theatre and at death bed events. 4 x 2 1/2 inches.
