Lot of 10 prints featuring three portraits - one of Abraham Lincoln -- and 7 Civil War battlefield images. Lincoln portrait unmounted, 20 1/2" x 14 1/2", no markings, author/publisher unknown. Two other portraits of unknown man and woman (wearing bright white necklace) printed directly on cardboard, 17" - 18" x 14", no markings, author/publisher unknown. Three large Civil War prints signed by artist Thulstrup, each mounted on cardboard, image sizes +/- 21" x 14", board sizes +/- 25" x 18", untitled, several torn corners. Note: Thure de Thulstrup was a Swedish artist who moved to the US and became, arguably, the leading Civil War artist of his time, doing illustrations for newspapers and magazines including Harpers' Monthly and Scribner's Magazine. 4 smaller mounted prints by artist H.A. Ogden, images +/- 8 1/2" x 10 3/4", three copyrighted 1987 by Knight & Brown titled Hocker at Chancellorsville May 3, 1863; Meade at Gettysburg July 2, 1863; and McClellan at Antietam Sept 17, 1862; fourth painting copyrighted 1900 by Jones Bros. Publishing Co titled Gen. J.E.B. Stuart's Raid around McClellan June, 1862. Note: Henry Alexander Ogden was a prolific illustrator of US history and military subjects. His work included illustrating all uniforms worn by the US Army since its inception in 18th century.
